ISA Activity (Class VII) – Celebrating Sovereignty
ISA Activity (Class VII)
Celebrating Sovereignty
The first ISA Activity under the series of “Celebrating Sovereignty” was organized on 22 September 2018, in the conference room of the school. The students watched the freedom struggle and the Republic Day celebrations of Eight countries – India, Maldives, Trinidad and Tobago, Taiwan, Brazil, Kenya, Portugal and Kazakhstan.
The students were given a short introduction about the activity and then they watched the various videos related to the activity.
Students showed interest and enthusiasm and watched with rapture and concentration. They were also seen taking down notes of the important points.
This activity invoked a sense of pride and responsibility in the students when they realized the legacy that they have to carry forward. It also helped them to understand the value of sacrifice and selfless devotion to one’s country. Above all, the students also gathered that we as the citizen of this world have much in common with our counterparts even though we may differ in color and language.
The activity ended with a brief conclusion and recapitulation of the important points.
