VISIT – SINGER OSMAN MEER

The living legend of modern ghazal singing Mr. Osman Meer visited Vidhyashram International School. The Chairman, Shri Vinay Kumar Jain and the Principal, Dr.(Mrs) Bharti Swami welcomed him. The program commenced with the welcome speech.

Mr Meer,in his presidential address, said that God resides in the music notes and we can find God by assiduous  practice of music. He said that a Guru shows the path to knowledge. He emphasized the need to revive the Guru-Shishya tradition again in its earlier form. He also mesmerized the audience by singing a few songs in his melodious voice.

Mrs Chandra Boob, President Swar Sudha, praised the special efforts made by VIS. On this occasion, the art teachers and student who excelled in other activities of VIS were honoured by Mr Meer.

Dr (Mrs.) Bharti Swami, Principal VIS, thanked the guest. Shri Vinay Kumar Jain, Chairman VIS, assured the gathering that such programs will be conducted in future also to ensure the overall development of the students.
